Welcome to the month of May!
This month our theme is “In the Garden.” We will be focusing on the colors Blue and Purple and reviewing the letters of the alphabet (a-z), numbers (1-25) and shapes (circle, rectangle, oval, triangle, square, heart, clover and diamond).
Our character building is about Responsibility. The children will be learning about responsibility by cleaning up their toys before moving on to another activity. They will also be reading books about responsibility throughout the week.
Teacher appreciation week is May 7th-11th.
Summer is approaching and the weather is getting hotter. Please be sure you are putting sunscreen on your child before they come to school. As it gets hotter, we do limit our outside time to prevent any injuries to the children.
Mother’s Day is approaching, and the children are busy making beautiful project’s for that special woman in their life: Mom, Grandma, Aunt, etc.
Our VPK class is sadly coming to an end. We will be having a VPK and Four-year class graduation. Be on the lookout for more information posted on the classroom doors.
